Night Auditor – Ridgeland, MS

Night Auditor Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Services: Check-in/out late arrivals, assist with requests (wake-up calls, transport), respond to emergencies, and handle complaints.
  • Accounting & Finance: Balance cash drawers, reconcile credit/cash transactions, post charges, verify guest folios, and investigate out-of-balance accounts.
  • Reporting: Generate daily and nightly financial reports, operating statistics, and prepare for morning audits.
  • Front Desk Operations: Manage phones, take reservations, handle check-ins, and ensure smooth handover to day staff.
  • Security: May perform security checks or oversee night staff. 
Key Skills
  • Customer Service: Friendly, efficient, and proactive guest interaction.
  • Attention to Detail: Crucial for accurate financial reconciliation.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve issues independently.
  • Accounting Skills: Strong math and experience with property management software (PMS).
  • Independence: Ability to work autonomously during quiet hours. 
Typical Shift
  • Often 11 PM to 7 AM, bridging the evening and morning front desk shifts.
